Megan Benjamin is a native of Oneonta, NY.  She is a graduate of Ithaca College's Class of 2016, where she received a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance and studied under Dr. David Parks, tenor.  She currently lives in Astoria, NYC.

Notable roles in 2023 included Hermia in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" with Shakespeare on the Beach and Liza in Zoryah Nomak's upcoming short film "How I Met My Wife...With a D*ck Pic." In May of 2024, Megan's short play "Ten of Swords" will have its premiere at the New York Summer Theatre Festival, marking her playwrighting debut.

Roles in 2022 included Star-to-Be/Boylan Sister in "Annie" and ensemble roles in "The Music Man" and "The Pirates of Penzance" with Four Corners Musical Theatre Company.  In 2021, Megan performed the roles of Fan and Martha in a national tour of "A Christmas Carol" with Perseverance Productions, Vedma in "The Weird Sisters (of the Lower East Side)" as part of
Boo! The Short Plays Festival, Moth in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" with First Flight  Theatre Company, and Venus in "Orpheus in the Underworld" with the Utah Vocal Arts Academy Summer Opera Festival.  Megan currently works an Actor with The Murder Mystery Company which she regularly performs with.  

Other roles have included Alice in "The Victory Garden Plays" with
Tutti Bravi Productions, Molly/Alice in "The Days of '98 Show with Soapy Smith" with Gold Rush Productions, Dog in the musical "Dog Loves Books" with ArtsPower National Touring Theatre, and the Ensemble of "Gaybraham Lincoln: The Musical" at the Thespis Theatre Festival.
